28.04.2015 - 11th International Conference on Industrial Ventilation

Dear colleagues,

To invite all of you to submit high quality paper(s) to the 11th International Conference on Industrial Ventilation (Ventilation 2015), the deadline for full-length paper submission is now extended to May 16th, 2015.

The full-length paper must be submitted online in the same way as you submitted your abstracts. Please click here to submit. We provide full paper template for you, please prepare your full paper according to the full paper template here. You can see the instruction of paper submission process in the website at http://www.ventilation2015.org/

While preparing your full paper submission, you may also do the following preparations: 1) To get the Chinese visa; 2) To book a hotel. You may find more information in the following paragraphs.

First, there are two ways to get the Chinese visa:

1. You could apply for a tourist visa, which is more convenient and with more ease in most countries. You need to find a local tourist agent to arrange visa formalities for you.

2. You could apply a Chinese visa with an official invitation letter. If this means is chosen, before getting the official invitation letter, please return this email with your passport scanning copy and a C.V (resume) if possible. Also, the following information should be provided be you, or you can tell us your special requirement for getting a visa.

Second, October is the high season for both tourism and business in Shanghai. Multiple conferences could be ongoing simultaneously during Oct 26th to 28th, including Ventilation 2015. Although the organizing committee may reserve reasonable number of rooms from Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel and Kingswell Hotel Tongji, we think it is better for you to reserve your room at your own preference (bed size, date, location, etc.) and we recommend you to do so as early as possible. Additional information for accommodation could be found at here. If you need the organizing committee to reserve room(s) for you, please reply this email with your preference.

Finally, we are pleased to inform you that Ventilation 2015 has received about 150 abstracts from different parts of the world. We really appreciate your participation. Selected excellent papers will be further expanded and published in special issues of the following journals: International Journal of Ventilation. And others will be recommended to the following journals: Building Simulation, Building and Environment. The proceedings will also be submitted to relevant archival databases for their inclusion. Besides, the organizing committee has decided to continue accepting last-minute abstract submission and will perform expedited review of the abstract if the full paper can be subm itted by May 16th, 2015.
